• Payment Information: When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment partner, Polar. We receive your subscription status and billing dates but do not store your credit card number or payment card details.
• Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as play counts and track interaction data to provide features like play count displays, radio rotation, and listener geography breakdowns for artists.
• Technical Data: When you visit the Service, standard technical information is processed, including your browser type and device information. Our audio files are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS S3), which processes your IP address to deliver streams.
• Anonymized IP Address: When you play a track, we record an anonymized version of your IP address (the last octet is zeroed, e.g. 203.0.113.0) to determine your approximate country and city for listener geography analytics. The full IP address is never stored. We use the third-party service ip-api.com to perform this lookup using the anonymized IP. The anonymized IP is retained only until geo enrichment is complete, after which it serves solely as a fallback for failed lookups.
• Artist Location: When an artist profile is created, we automatically detect and store the creator's approximate country and city using an anonymized IP address from the time of creation. Artists may view and update this information at any time on their profile page. This data is displayed publicly on the artist's profile to help listeners discover regional music.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process subscriptions and manage your account
• Enable artists to upload and share content
• Stream music content to listeners
• Display play counts and basic analytics to artists
• Communicate with you about your account, billing, or support requests
• Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Clerk — Authentication and user account management
• Polar — Payment processing and subscription management
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — File storage and content delivery
• ip-api.com — IP geolocation for listener geography analytics (anonymized IP only; no account or personal data is transmitted)
• Resend — Transactional and notification email delivery

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use minimal local storage to remember your player preferences (such as volume settings and playback state). Our authentication provider (Clerk) uses session cookies necessary for keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

If you delete your account or remove content, we will remove the associated data from our active systems within a reasonable timeframe. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period or as required by law.
